Michael J. "Mike" Olson, age 64, passed away on Saturday May 6, 2023, in Oconto Falls. Mike was born on November 27, 1958, to Morva L. "Midge" (Mayer) and the late Duane D. Olson, in Japan. He graduated from Bonduel High School in 1977. Mike loved doing yardwork, gardening, cooking, collecting and reading many books. His world revolved around his niece Olivia. Mike and Olivia would spend so much time together playing in the yard and building snow forts when she was a child.

Mike is survived by his mother, Morva "Midge" Olson; his brother, Steven (Kathy Chaney) Olson; his niece, Olivia Olson; his uncles, Jerome Olson, Delyle Olson and Robert Mayer; his aunt Helen Boetcher. He is further survived by many cousins, other relatives and friends.

Mike is preceded in death by his father, Duane Olson.

A funeral service for Mike will be held at 4:00 pm on Thursday May 18, 2023, at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano, with Pastor Craig Nehring. Burial will be held at Jerusalem Cemetery in Lunds at a later date. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until the time of service at the funeral home.
