Michael Lee "Mike" Weso, age 46 of Shawano, passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021, at ThedaCare Medical Center – Shawano. He was born on August 25, 1975, to Mary (Jackson) Weso and the late Gerald "Oogie" Weso in Shawano. Mike worked for Family Dollar in Shawano and occasionally in Keshena. He loved his job, his co-workers and especially the customers. He was very joyful and a people person. He loved his motorcycle and riding in the nice weather. Mike deeply cared for his mother, Mary. He made sure she had the things she needed and if she didn't he would pick her up to run errands.  He will be deeply missed.

Mike is survived by: his mother, Mary; significant other, Bernadine Raner; three children, Ben (Karlie Kaufman) Weso, McKayla Weso and Owen Weso; two brothers, Monroe (Ruth) Weso and Nathan (Amanda) Weso; three stepchildren, Tonia Waubanascum, Alex Medina and Israel Medina; and special grandson, Roman Rosado. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald "Oogie" Weso and his grandmother, Frances Walker-Weso.

A funeral service for Mike will be held at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with Pastor Matt Golie officiating.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 1 pm until time of service.
