Obituary

Mildred June Heller, age 77 of the Town of Hartland, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2011 in Shawano. Born on March 3, 1934 in the Town of Lessor, she was the daughter of the late John and Lima (Plautz) Heuer. Mildred grew up in the Landstad area. After graduating from high school in 1951, she worked for the telephone company in Green Bay. In 1954 she married Gerald Scray. Later she worked for various other jobs. On June 12, 1965 she was united in marriage to Frank Heller at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bonduel. The couple raised their family on their home farm in the Town of Hartland. Millie's greatest joy in life was spending time with her family and reading to her beloved grandchildren. She also enjoyed hunting, going to rummage sales and was an avid bowler. Millie is survived by: her husband of 46 years, Frank; 2 daughters, Judy (Rick) Hernke of Mundelein, IL, Connie (Michael) Babino of Bonduel; 2 sons, Gary Scray of Green Bay, Frank (April) Heller, Jr., of Bonduel; 10 grandchildren, Tim (Kim) Leitzke, Jesse (Lindsey) Hernke, Ryan (Jenny) Hernke, Dustin (special friend, Kady Slattery) Hernke, Candice (Jason) Laluzerne, Ashley Heller, Amber Heller, Adam Heller, Abbi Heller, Ajay Heller; and 4 great-grandchildren, Hoyt and Mia Leitzke, Izabelle Hernke and Michael Laluzerne. Millie is further survived by: a sister, Arlene (Bernie) Ebben of Ashwaubenon; 2 brothers, Ron (Maggie) Heuer of Fond du Lac, David (Deloris) Heuer of Pulaski; a sister-in-law, Darlene Heller of Oneida; and 2 brothers-in-law, Donald (Nancy) Heller of Bonduel and Alfred (Carol) Heller of Two Rivers. Millie was preceded in death by: a daughter-in-law, Cheryl Scray; her parents; and a brother-in-law, Kenneth Heller. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bonduel with the Rev. Timothy Shoup officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Swedberg-Wendt Funeral Home in Bonduel on Wednesday from 4-8pm and at the church on Thursday after 10am until the time of the service. www.swedbergfuneralhome.com
