Mildred Ann Soderstrom, age 93 of Shawano, passed away Saturday, February 2, 2013 at a local nursing home. Born on July 12, 1919 in Forth Worth, TX, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Leota (Miller) Alberti. On April 15, 1961 she was united in marriage to Harold W. Soderstrom in Chicago, IL. After marriage the couple made their home in the Antigo until 1988 when they moved to Shawano. Mildred was a member of the A.A.R.P. Mildred is survived by: a brother, Walter Alberti of Porter, IN; a sister-in-law, Loretta Soderstrom of Shawano; and 2 brothers-in-law, Laddie Vlcek of Medford and Edward Nielson of Pewaukee. Mildred was preceded in death by: her husband, Harold; her parents; and a brother, George Alberti. A graveside service will be held in the spring at the Hillside Cemetery in Ogema.
