Milton A. McPherson, age 71, of Rhinelander, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2022. He was born on March 23, 1951, to the late Alfred and Mildred (Dickie) McPherson in Keshena. Milton attended Haskell Indian Nations University in Kansas and graduated with a bachelor's degree in business administration. He worked for the Potawatomi Tribe for over twenty years on the Gaming Commission until his retirement. Milton loved music, playing cribbage and going to the casino.

He is survived by his children, Alan (Michelle) Urban, Dana McPherson, and Joe (Cassie) McPherson; grandchildren, Alex and Dominic; and brothers and sisters, Karen, Donna, Naomi, Yvonne, Reynold, and Carol Mae. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Milton is preceded in death by his sons, Toby Urban and Mathew McPherson; brothers, Roger "Fido", Lester, and Dennis; and nephew, Little Roger.

A funeral service will be held from 1:00-4:00 pm on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at the Neopit Community Center with Joe Daniels, Sr. officiating. Burial will be at St. Anthony Cemetery in Neopit following services. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 pm on Friday, April 22, 2022, at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano and 1:00 pm on Saturday at the Neopit Community Center.
