Obituary

Minnie Gail Asenbrener, age 67, of Marion, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2019, in her home surrounded by her family. She was born on August 12, 1951 in Springfield IL, to the late Fredrick and Ruth (Bohn) Wurth.  Minnie was united in marriage to George Asenbrener on April 25, 1981 in Leopolis.  She served in the United States Army. She worked as a cook for Jerry & Pat's and later at Home Plate in Shawano.  Minnie enjoyed spending time at her job and with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Minnie is survived by: her husband, George; four children, Clarence (Deb) Smith III of LaGrange N.C., Deborah (Lenny) Schmidt of Oconto Falls, Peter (Darla) Asenbrener of Leopolis and James (Lanna) Asenbrener of Menasha; five grandchildren, Cassandra Cable, Jetta Robertson, Zachary Robertson, Dillan Schmidt and Clarence Smith IV; six great grandchildren and three siblings, William (Debbie) Wurth, Donald (Karen) Wurth and Melody Wurth.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with Mr. Richard Menning officiating. Burial will be held in St. Mary Cemetery in Leopolis. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from noon until the time of the service.
