Nancy Ellen Jaeger, age 83, passed away at her home in Gillett on Thursday May 9, 2024. Nancy was born on September 27, 1940, in Oconto Falls, daughter of the late Ray and Ruth (Nass) Temple. On April 12, 1958, she was united in marriage to Wilmer Jaeger at St. John's Lutheran Church in Pulcifer, Wisconsin. They had a wonderful 42 years together before Wilmer's passing in 2000. Nancy loved hosting family gatherings, especially the annual 4th of July party. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling with bus tours, playing cards, and doing puzzles. Nancy was an active member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Gillett where she volunteered her time with the ladies' aid/women of the church and through visitation ministry. Nancy was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and her family was her world. She will be dearly missed.
Nancy is survived by her children, Catherine (Kevin) Erdmann, Tammy (Jerry) DeBauch, Brenda (Louis) Danielson, Sheri (Scot) Deering, Gary Jaeger and Stuart Jaeger; grandchildren, Tera, Jonathan, Sara, Jeremy, Brandon, Shawn, Tyler, Kayla, Nathan, Krista and Logan; great-grandchildren, Isabella, Benjamin, Zoe, Remington, Vincent, Mitchell, Khaos, Persephone, Everly, Serena, Jordy, Abel, and Riley; siblings, Shirley Rank, Ronald (Patricia) Temple and Yvonne (Fred) Christensen; sister-in-law, Nancy Schuster; and brother-in-law, Lester Jaeger. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Nancy is preceded in death by her husband, Wilmer; a grandson, Matthew; great-grandchildren, Angel and Carson; brothers, Alfred Temple and Jerry Temple; and parents, Ray and Ruth.
A funeral service for Nancy will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday May 14, 2024, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Gillett. Visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday from 9:30 am until the time of the service. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.
