Nancy Grace Mielke, age 70 of Bonduel, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2013 in Shawano. Born on April 4, 1943 in Shawano, she was the daughter of the late Helmuth and Norma (Schroeder) Wussow. On December 1, 1962 she was united in marriage to Gary Mielke in Bonduel. Nancy lived most of her life in the Bonduel area and worked for Westerfeld Oil and Mid County Co-Op. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Bonduel and was secretary for the United Methodist Women Group. She was also a member of the Bonduel Buttercup Homemakers Club. In her free time she enjoyed playing on a couple's pool league, gardening, doing crafts, rummage sales and playing with her favorite pet, "Bear" the dog. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and was looking forward to having great-grandchildren. She also liked getting together with her cousins at "The Big Ten." Nancy is survived by: her husband, Gary; 2 sons, Paul (Lisa) Mielke, Andrew (Jennifer) Mielke; 2 grandchildren, Brandon (Kalia) Mielke, Amy (Andrew) Wry; and 2 brothers, Lyle (Audrey) Wussow of Bonduel and Rodney (Barb) Wussow of NE. Nancy was preceded in death by: her parents; and a brother, Glenn. A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at the Zion United Methodist Church in Bonduel with the Rev. Loretta Waegli officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:30am until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
