Obituary

Nathan C. Dumke, age 23 of Bowler, passed away in Shawano. Born on September 24, 1988 in Shawano, he was the son of Larry Dumke and Jodi (Frailing) Breitenfeldt. After graduating from high school, Nathan attended the University of WI-Whitewater. He enjoyed playing chess and was awarded the National Chess Champion Award. In his free time he also enjoyed golfing. Nathan was a member of the Peace Lutheran Church in Tilleda. Nathan is survived by: his mother, Jodi (Kenneth) Breitenfeldt of Tigerton; his father, Larry (fiancé, Lisa Dahlke) Dumke of Bowler; a brother, Jesse (Kate) Dumke of Madison; 2 sisters, Mandi (Victor) Murray of Shawano, Jana (special friend, Susan Richards) Dumke of Appleton; maternal grandparents, Allen and Karen Frailing of Iola; paternal grandmother, Lorna Dumke of Shawano; 2 nieces, Avie and Lolly Murray of Shawano; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Nathan was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Lyle Dumke. A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, April 9, 2012 at the Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with the Rev. Dennis Creswell officiating. Burial will be in the Seneca Immanuel Cemetery in the Town of Seneca. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday after 11am until the time of the service. www.swedbergfuneralhome.com
