Nathen "Nate Dog" Karl Wynos Sr., age 48, of Appleton, passed away on Sunday November 14, 2021, in Green Bay. He was born on February 21, 1973, in Shawano, to Wayne Wynos Sr. and Mary Lou Webster. Nathen was a simple and kind man with a huge heart and would give the shirt off his back if it was needed. He was always willing to lend a hand or be there as a shoulder to cry on. Nate loved spending time with and cooking for his family and was known for being able to make people laugh. He had a passion for music especially heavy metal bands and enjoyed playing the guitar. Nathen was an avid Steelers and Packers fan. His family lovingly describes Nathen as someone who "Lived life like a rockstar."

Nathen is survived by: his children Jason Wynos, Nathen (Ceyenna) Wynos Jr., LaRiah, Lynsay, Alan, and NaTasha; his grandson Ivory Wynos; his siblings David Wynos, Candace (Greg) Waupekenay, Margaret Wynos: Special Greengrass Family (Candy, Chuck, Stub, Stephanie, Patty, Wendy and Ma Mooskidee *Diane Perea-Webster); his former wife Cheryl Jones and special mom, Dawn Wilber; He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother Wayne "Baby Wayne" Wynos Jr. and his sister Nikki Wynos.

A traditional prayer service for Nathen will be held on Thursday November 18, 2021, at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano at 1:00pm. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am on Thursday until the time of service.
