IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Nicholas Lawrence
Kielblock
May 5, 1978 – December 12, 2022
Nicholas Lawrence Kielblock, age 44, of Tigerton, passed away peacefully at his home on December 12, 2022. Nick was born in Clintonville on May 5, 1978, to Sandy (Wedemayer) and the late Larry Kielblock. Nick grew up in Wittenberg and graduated from Tigerton High School. On October 8, 2005, he was united in marriage to Michelle Reinert at St. John's Lutheran Church. In Nick's early years, he was active in baseball and Boy Scouts where he enjoyed racing soap box derby cars.
At an early age, Nick learned to play the concertina with his Grandpa Bill and to this day, still loved to play. Nick owned and operated Kielblock Logging, LLC. One could say trucking and logging was in his blood.
Nick loved that small town country life. He loved cooking maple syrup with his buddies and taking his nieces and nephews hunting with him even if they never could get a deer because the snacks, naps, and spending time together just seemed more important. Nick's nieces and nephews meant everything to him. He had such a soft spot for them. Uncle Nick never said "No".
If you knew Nick, he always had his own philosophy on life. It never made sense to anyone but him, he lived his life on his own terms. Nick made it a point to talk to someone no matter where he was and to this day, he knew someone almost everywhere he would go. He always had a story to tell, whether it be about his friends here or new friends he made on the road storming. Everyone was family to him. Nick's big personality will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his loving wife, Michelle, of 17 years and their beloved dog, Jingle Belle who will miss him greatly. He is further survived by his parents, Sandy and Ron Lewis; a father-in-law, Mike Reinert; siblings, Dana Daggs, Kyle Kielblock, Keary Kielblock; a brother-in-law, Steve Reinert; a sister-in-law, Staci (Ricky Nettles) Reinert; three nephews, Jeryn Daggs, Devin Daggs and Bentley Kielblock; two nieces, Hartley Nettles and Lennox Nettles that he loved with his whole heart, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends he loved dearly. He also loved his doggies, Jubilee June and Poppy Mae.
Nick is preceded in death by his father, Larry Kielblock; a mother-in-law, Sharon Reinert; grandparents, Wilbert and Hildegard Kielblock, Bill and Dorothy Wedemayer; a niece, Harper Nettles; his beloved Daisy Mae, Ellie Mae and Sadie Mae; and his shop buddy, O'Ryan.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at St. John Lutheran Church, 502 Cedar Street, Tigerton with Pastor Dean Suehring officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 8:00 pm at the church on Friday, and again at 9:30 am until the time of service. Burial will be at Union Cemetery in Tigerton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Shawano County Humane Society, 1290 Jaycee Court, Shawano, WI 54166.
"I have taken my last load. There will be one final trip that I must take, one that will be on a road paved with gold and there I will rest, for there will be no more trips to take once I have entered heaven's gates."
