Norma R. Grosskreutz, age 78 of Shawano, passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2011 in Shawano. Born on January 9, 1933 in Lunds Corner, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Mildred (Haefs) Olson. On April 20, 1968 she was united in marriage to Clifton Grosskreutz in Shawano. Clifton preceded her in death on September 7, 1976. Norma proudly worked as a Domestic Engineer. She was a person who would willingly try anything and enjoyed doing crafts and woodworking, bowling, golfing, and shooting archery. Norma was an avid hunter, fisher-woman and outdoors-woman. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Shawano and a member of the Lunds Snowbirds. Norma is survived by: 2 sons, Jerry (Carol) Grosskreutz of Shawano, Dan (Diane) Grosskreutz of Clintonville; 4 grandchildren, Stacy (Mick) Kurland of Appleton, Justin (fiancé, Lisa King) Grosskreutz of Oshkosh, Shanna (Scott) Owen of Embarrass, Cody (Emily) Grosskreutz of Clintonville; 8 great-grandchildren with a 9th on the way; 5 siblings, Darlene Beyer, Duane (Midge) Olson, Sharon (Don) Ross, DeLyle Olson, Jerome Olson; and a sister-in-law, Charmaine Olson. Norma was preceded in death by: her husband, Clifton; her parents; 2 brothers, Verlyn Olson, Alfred Olson, Jr.; a sister, Donna (Clifford) Krause; a brother-in-law, Norman Beyer; and a sister-in-law, May Olson. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at the Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with the Rev. Domnik Israel officiating. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Shawano.
