Norma E. Thompson, age 90, passed away on Monday February 6, 2023 in Shawano. She was born on July 19, 1932, in Shawano to the late Alfred and Meta (Druckrey) Degener. Norma graduated from Shawano High School. On May 22, 1952, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Thompson, he preceded her in death on December 10, 2017. She worked at Canteen Corp for several years until her retirement. Norma spent more of her life in the Shawano area.

Norma is survived by her son, Dennis (Pam) Thompson; her granddaughters, Rachel (Timothy) Riener and Kelsey (husband Garrett Bong) Thompson; her siblings Bernice (Creade) Stueck, Annabell Hartleben and Ervin (Judy) Degener. She is further survived by numerous nieces,  nephews, other relatives and friends.

Norma is preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday February 14, 2023, at 1:30 pm at St. Martin Lutheran Church in Belle Plaine, with Pastor Kurt Kluge officiating. Visitation will be from noon until the time of the service at the church. Burial will be at St. Martin Lutheran Cemetery.
