Darling
November 27, 1929 – November 9, 2019
Norman "Si" Silas Darling, age 89, of Gresham, passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2019, at his home. Norman was born on November 27, 1929, in Pulcifer, to the late Silas and Ester (Hansen) Darling. He graduated from Shawano High School in 1948. After high school, he served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Norman was united in marriage to Barbara Zoglman on June 14, 1969, in the Town of Red Springs. He worked for the Little Rapids Paper Mill for nearly 35 years until his retirement. Norman served on the Gresham Village Board, was active in civic groups, member of the Gresham Lions, Gresham Legion, and the Shawano V.F.W. He participated in the Honor Flight. Norman was proud of the fact he was able to travel to all 50 states. He enjoyed camping, the Packers and visiting and socializing with his family and friends. Most people could sum him up in three phrases; easy-going, fun-loving and devoted.

He is further survived by other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
