Norman A. Pyawasay, age 79, of Keshena, passed away on March 13, 2020 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Shawano. Norman was born on July 14, 1940 to the late Robert Sr. and Ethel (Oshkesaniew) Pyawasay. When he was younger Norman moved to Milwaukee and made his living there. Upon retirement Norman moved back to the Menominee Reservation. He enjoyed playing cribbage. Norman loved to read, as well as watching Family Feud and Jeopardy.

Norman is survived by his chickiedee, Gwendolyn Wallow. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; his honey, Lois Novak; and his sisters, Edith Kakwitch, Carol Gauthier, Laverna Pamonicutt, Karen Turney and June Corn; and his brothers, Bernard Pyawasay, Robert Pyawasay, Jr., and Francis Pyawasay.

A memorial service for Norman is being planned for a later date.
