Orlin Robert Skinkis, age 38, of Underhill, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 28, 2022, due to a work-related accident. He was born on June 14, 1983, to Roger D. Sanapaw and Valerie A. Skinkis in Green Bay. He graduated from Menominee Indian High School. On October 17, 2004, Orlin was united in marriage to Cassie May Weeder. He loved his family and friends and was devoted to spoiling the hell out of his wife. Orlin worked as an arborist for his own company. He was a very honest, hardworking, family man and a true and loyal friend who will be deeply missed.

He is survived by: his wife, Cassie; his children, Rory (Calista Vassallo) Skinkis, and Alice Skinkis; his parents, Roger and Valerie; brothers and sisters, Dan Coppens, Erica Coppens, Holly Coppens, Sasha Sanapaw, Candice Sanapaw, Frank (Lacé) Sanapaw, Cody Skinkis, Ruth (Simon) Sanapaw-Rayos, and Jordan (Bryan) Madosh; sisters-in-law, Chantelle Weeder, and Danielle (Tony) Moore; grandparents-in-law, Chuck and Martha Olson; father-in-law, Terry Weeder; and best friends, J.J. Jagodzinski and C.J. Tuell. Orlin is further survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Orlin is preceded in death by: sister-in-law, Sydnie Sparks; mother-in-law, Lee Vaughn; uncle Orlin Wilber; and best friends, Josh Krueger and Tyler LaRock.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2022, starting at 3:00 pm at the Skinkis' Residence – 12792 County Road VV, in Underhill.
