Orville D. Sherwood, age 93 of Shawano, passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2018. Orville was born on August 16, 1925 in Waukegan, IL.  On October 26, 1963, he was united in marriage to Marie Jasmer.  Marie preceded him in death in 1990.  Orville enjoyed listening to country music, watching T.V., dancing, sitting outside and going for walks.  He also loved horses, fishing, playing games, cards and horseshoes.  Orville was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Withee, WI.

Orville is survived by: children, Diane Paul, Lori (Rory) Cannon, Richard (Pauline) Sherwood, Corey Sherwood and Kevin (Jamie) Sherwood; 13 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie; one grandson, Michael; his parents; eight brothers; and three sisters.

Private family services were held.
