Otho P. Malone, 66 of Bowler passed away on Saturday February 25, 2012 at his home. Born in the Town of Red Springs, he was the son of the late Otho Henry and Sophrona (Doxtator) Malone. He was raised in the Gresham-Bowler area and during his youth was confirmed at the Church of the Wilderness. Otho was employed at the foundry until he retired due to his health. He enjoyed camping, fishing and working on cars. He married Ardelle Jacobs on September 7, 1979 in Milwaukee. Survivors include: his wife, Ardelle, children; Patrick (Tanya) Malone of Mole Lake, Matthew Malone of Bowler, Crystal Malone of Bowler, Paul Malone of Bowler, step children; Aaron Jacobs and Richard Jacobs of Milwaukee, 3 grandchildren; Matthew, Jr., Sophrona and Autumn, 2 step grandchildren; Aaron, Jr. and Jessica and a great granddaughter, Nativia. He is further survived by brothers and sisters; Eleanor Martin of Gresham, Velma Marchan of Shawano, Lois (Melvin) Siim of Bowler, Brenda (Robert) Curtis of Bowler, Wayne (Cheryl) Malone of Bowler and John (Mary) Malone of Bowler, nieces and nephews. Otho was preceded in death by a daughter in infancy, Valerie Rose, his parents and a sister, Donna Hammer. Funeral services will be held at noon on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at the Swedberg Funeral Home, Gresham with Mrs. Melinda Shriner officiating with burial to follow in the Red Springs Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the Swedberg Funeral Home in Gresham from 9:00 am on Tuesday until the time of the services.
