Owen LeRoy Turner, age 78 of Shawano, passed away on Wednesday. June 23, 2021 in Shawano. Owen was born on March 30, 1943, in Madison, to the late Claude and Lucille (Showers) Turner. He proudly went on to serve his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1962 to 1968. He went on to work at NAPA Auto Parts in Denmark, WI, and Shawano. He was also a proud member of the AMVETS of Shawano. Owen loved to watch NASCAR, the Packers, and the Brewers. He also held his beloved dogs China, Tinker, and Fudge close to his heart.

Owen is survived by: his children Rhonda (Mark) Waldvogel, of Oregon, WI, Charles (Sara) Turner), of Gainesville, FL, and Carl (Megan) Turner, of Menominee Falls.; 14 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; his half sister Jean. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Lucille.

A celebration of life for Owen will be held at a later date.
