Patricia Ann Kohn, age 67, passed away Tuesday morning, May 30, 2023, at her home in Bonduel in the presence of her husband after a short battle with cancer. She was born December 11, 1955, in Appleton, to the late Malon and Dorothy (Krueger) Poppy of New London. She was raised and resided in New London most of her life. She was a graduate of New London High School (Class of 1974) and then attended the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh graduating with a BS degree in the field of Medical Technology. Patricia worked a 40+ year career as a Medical Technologist at multiple facilities including the Medical Center in Waupaca, La Salle Clinic in New London, New London Hospital and Theda Care Medical Center in Shawano. She was a talented musician playing piano, organ, flute, and vocalist. She was a long-time member of Emanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in New London where she founded and directed the youth choir "Youth Alive", directed the ladies' choir and sang in the mixed choir. She joined Friedens Lutheran Church in Bonduel in 2012 and became active in church music playing piano, organ, singing and directing the church choir. She will be remembered as a woman of strong faith and love for our Lord Jesus Christ, a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend who enjoyed gardening, baking, sewing, crafting and bonfires.

Patricia is survived by her husband, Glenn Steven Kohn; son, David James Blissett; daughter, Angela Rae Blissett; three siblings, Steve (Patricia) Poppy, Lea "Beeb" (Gary) Herzfeldt, and Dave (Aurea) Poppy; three stepdaughters, Stephanie (Tim) John, Tiffany (Josh) Mathiowetz, and Sarah Kohn; and grandchildren. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday June 5, 2023, at Frieden's Lutheran Church in Bonduel, with Rev. David Ticks officiating. Visitation will be held at Swedberg-Wendt Funeral Home in Bonduel Sunday June 4, 2023 from 4 pm to 7pm. Visitation will continue June 5, 2023 at the church beginning at 10:00 am until the time of service. Burial will be in Frieden's Cemetery.
