Patricia Mary "Pat" Gipp, age 82, passed away on Saturday April 12, 2025, in Green Bay. Pat was born on April 1, 1943, in Lena, Wisconsin to the late Alvin and Mary (Curran) Vernosh. She lived in Oconto, Gillett and Green Bay before settling in Shawano in 1967. On June 24, 1967, Pat was united in marriage to Larry A. Gipp in St. Francis Xavier Cathedral in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The couple spent a wonderful 49 years together before Larry's passing in 2017. Pat was a milk tester for ARC Dairy Lab in Bonduel for ten years and worked for Palmer Bakery for a short time. She was an Economic Support Specialist for Shawano County Department of Shawano Human Services for 25 ½ years, retiring in April of 2005. Pat was an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, serving as Vice President and President of the Council of Catholic Women and a chairperson for the parish council. She was also a member of the Sr. Government Drug Committee, Home and Community Education (Homemakers), County Queen Homemakers Club, and Shawano County Historical Society.

Patricia is survived by her sisters, Margaret Vernosh, Ellen O' Blenes and Barbara Vander Vest. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Patricia is preceded in death by her husband, Larry; parents, Alvin and Mary; and nephew, William Hill.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, April 21, 2025, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shawano with Fr. Edward Looney officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 9:30am until the time of service. Burial will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery in Shawano.
