Patricia M. "Pat" Voigt, age 79 of the Town of Washington, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 16, 2012. Born on February 5, 1933 in Plymouth, she was the daughter of the late Benno and Cora (Fenner) Roepke. Pat was raised in the Plymouth area and graduated from Plymouth High School. On February 19, 1955 she was united in marriage to Roger Voigt in Kiel. Pat worked for Bemis Manufacturing for 25 years before retiring. When not at work, she enjoyed golfing and was on the Wednesday Night League at the Shawano Lake Golf Course. She also enjoyed traveling to other courses with her lady friends. Pat was also an avid Green Bay Packers fan and enjoyed going to Packer games with Roger. In her free time she also enjoyed shopping, reading, tending to her flowers and bird watching, especially the Orioles and the Cardinals. Pat was a member of the Peace United Church of Christ in Shawano and was a charter member of the Sheboygan Falls Snowmobile Club. She had also volunteered at the Shawano County Humane Society in the past. Pat is survived by: her beloved husband of 57 years, Roger; 3 sons, Gregg (special friend, Jamie Hunt) Voigt, Brian (Kerry) Voigt, and James (Ann) Voigt all of Sheboygan Falls; and 2 grandchildren, Heather and Gage. A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm on Friday, July 20, 2012 at the Peace United Church of Christ in Shawano with the Rev. Marty Black officiating.
