IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Paul William
Hayden
August 1, 1955 – June 29, 2024
It is with great sadness that the family of Paul Hayden share news of his death on June 29th, 2024, at age of 68. A firecracker to the end, cancer extinguished his light while he was surrounded by loved ones in his home. Paul was a loving husband and father; retired mill worker (Weber Veneer and Plywood); master carpenter; renowned firework enthusiast; and expert pancake chef.
He enjoyed the simple things in life. When he wasn't busy tinkering in his woodshop, you could find him fishing, golfing, and planning his family's annual Big Bangs Independence Day celebration with his friend Roland. Many of his Saturday evenings were spent playing games around the kitchen table with friends and family. Sunday mornings he would make his special pancakes for everyone. His skill and generosity live on through his work. The secret to his amazing pancakes resides with his youngest grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and A. Mary Hayden, and his brother James.
Family who grieve the loss of his spark are: his wife Judy; children Bryan Hayden, Heather Gee and her husband Nathan; grandchildren Tanis and Dagon Gee; brothers Robert Hayden and his wife Linda, John Hayden, brother-in-law Marv Wolf; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; best friend Roland Laux, and adopted daughters.
In lieu of traditional services, Paul's life will be celebrated with a grand finale at his home on the evening of Friday, July 5th. He will be missed, but remembered with each flash, bang, and beautiful explosion.
