Pauline June Beyer, age 79 of the Town of Wescott, passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2014 in Shawano. Born on January 13, 1935 in Fairchild, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Angeline (Schliter) Peterson. After graduating high school, Pauline furthered her education with a degree in nursing from the Western Wisconsin Technical College in La Crosse. As a registered nurse, Pauline's kind heart and willingness to help others brought a love for her job that shined through to those around her. When not at work, Pauline enjoyed cooking and baking especially for her beloved family. She also enjoyed telling stories and was known for letting her good sense of humor come through. Her strong faith and religious beliefs were also very important to Pauline. On March 14, 1997 she was united in marriage to Robert Beyer. The couple made their home in the Shawano area. Pauline is survived by: her husband, Robert; her children, David (Cheryl) Eisberner, Sr. of Marshfield, Gregory (Luceanna) Eisberner of Osseo, James (Betty) Eisberner of Fairchild, Robert Eisberner of Marshfield, Sherry (Bill) Behnke of Cecil, Robert J. (Gloria) Beyer of Shawano, Dick (Laurie) Beyer of Wittenberg; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and 3 siblings, Robert Peterson of SD, Lois Johnson of Black River Falls and Judy Peterson of Blair. Pauline was preceded in death by: her first husband, Joseph Eisberner; her parents; and several siblings. Funeral services will be held at 7:00pm on Friday, January 24, 2014 at the Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with Mr. Robert Eberhardt, Mr. Luther Raine and Miss Edith Mack officiating. Burial will be in the Neillsville Cemetery in the Spring. Visitation will be held at the funeral home in Shawano on Friday from 4:00pm until the time of the service. www.swedbergfunralhome.com
