Peggy Ann Buckbee, age 60, of Clintonville, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 12, 2015 in Neenah from a reoccurrence of cancer. Peggy was born in Shawano on May 29, 1955 to Douglas and Joyce (Hoffman) Goers. On October 26, 1974 in Shawano, she was united in marriage to Chuck Buckbee. She lived in the Shawano area all her life. Peggy is a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, enjoyed trips to Canada with family, gardening, cooking, and canning. She loved her dog AJ, but most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. Peggy is survived by her husband, Chuck; their son, Shane (Leslie) Buckbee of Shawano; two grandchildren, Braxton and Miley; her parents, Doug and Joyce Goers of Shawano; one sister, Tami (Fred) DeKeyser of Shawano; as well as one niece Averi (Rod) Peralta; great niece and great nephews, Alex, Gabriela, and Santana. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shawano with Rev. Luke Ferris officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, October 16, 2015 at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. and again at the church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
