Peggy Jo Pederson, age 57 of the Town of Herman, passed away Sunday, January 5, 2014 in Appleton. Born on July 11, 1956 in Appleton, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Dorothy (Ganski) Olsen. On April 21, 1979 she was united in marriage to Orlin Pederson in Shawano. Together the couple ran Pederson Bar in Leopolis for several years. Peggy also worked at T&C Supermarket for 15 years and Walgreens for 10 years. When not at work, she enjoyed reading, cooking and playing cribbage. Peggy was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church in Leopolis. Peggy is survived by: her husband of 34 years, Orlie; her siblings, Pat Martin of Darboy and her children, Robin, Tim, Kelly, Tracy, Jody and Shawn; Pam (Mike) Burnett of Darboy and their children, Alex and Lauren; Leonard (Yvonne) Olsen of Manawa; and Bea (Wes) Fenske of FL; and her mother-in-law, Shirley Aschenbrenner of Shawano. Peggy was preceded in death by: her parents; and a sister, Rae Besaw. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church near Marion with the Rev. Dennis Creswell officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:30am until the time of the service. Peggy's final resting place will be at the St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in the spring. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
