Obituary
Peter Charles "Rabbit" Forstner, age 63, passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2016 in Wausau.
Peter was born in Seymour on June 27, 1953 to the late Roy C. and Joyce A. (Drier) Forstner.
He is a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Tilleda.
Peter loved both ice and dirt racing and enjoyed working on the race cars.
He was the top pitman in the pits.
Peter liked repairing computers, shoveling snow and riding motorcycle.
Peter loved Christmas, and loved making it a special time for his loved ones.
He will be remembered for ALWAYS putting his family first.
Peter is survived by:
his six children, Tami (Adam) Demaskie of Bowler, Amanda (Dustin Sonnenberg) Forstner of Tilleda, Jenene (Ethan Eldridge) Forstner of Mattoon, Clint (Jessica) Forstner of Clintonville, Katelyn (Benjamin) Jonet of Bowler and ViTessa Forstner-Watts of Tennessee; ten grandchildren, Kaleb, Maiden, Blake, Isaiah, Trinity, Jacob, Lucas, Greyson, Mariah and Adrienne; his life-long companion and former wife, Robin White.
He is further survived by his two brothers, Ricky Forstner and Johnny (Mary) Forstner; two sisters, Susie (Terry) Seely and Cindy (David) Baker as well as his very close friend Ronald "Pops" Besaw, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by one grandson, Lifeson; his parents; and sister, Diana Helms.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Peace Lutheran Church in Tilleda with Lay Minister Lois Graper officiating.
Burial will be in South Maine Cemetery in the Town of Maine.
Visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday from 9:30 am until the time of the service.
