Obituary
Phyllis Charlene Perk, age 84, of Waupaca, WI, passed away on Friday, October 14, 2016 into the arms of our Lord, Jesus Christ. She was born on January 29, 1932 in Madison, WI, the daughter of Charles and Regina Segebart. Phyllis was a Korean War Veteran, involved in numerous veterans' organizations, a member of Zion Lutheran Church while residing in Shawano, WI, and recently a member of King Veterans Home Chapel while residing as a member of the King Veterans Home. Phyllis enjoyed traveling, museums, pursuing educational pursuits and was an avid reader and book collector.
Phyllis is survived by: her daughter, Lynn (David) Edge of Oconto, WI; son, Mark Hukill of Honolulu, HI; her daughter, Kimberly Maloney of Miami, FL; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alden Perk.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday October 28th, 2016 at Ainsworth Hall Chapel in the Wisconsin Veterans Home at King. Visitation will be at the chapel from 12:30 pm until the time of the service. Graveside committal service with Military Honors at Memorial Cemetery at King will follow the memorial service.Services
