Phyllis Jean Tincher, age 87, passed away on Friday, July 19, 2024 in Green Bay. She was born on December 6, 1936, to the late Bruno and Alma (Schroeder) Albrecht in Springvale Columbia County, WI. Phyllis graduated from Cambria High School and went on to work as the secretary for the State of Wisconsin in Madison and later in retail at Prange Way and Kmart. She met George Tincher in Madison, and they were married on October 12, 1957, in Cambria, Wisconsin. They farmed for ten years in the town of Waukechon after George served in the U.S. Army. She was very proud to have been the Past Matron of the Shawano Order of the Eastern Star. Phyllis was a lover of dogs and pink flamingos. She also had an impressive collection of beautiful tea pots. She was a wonderful wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her daughters, Patricia (Ron) Clark, Shawano, Barbara Stack, Appleton, and son, Charles (Susan) Tincher, Green Bay; as well as grandsons, Ryan (Brittany) Tincher and Jacob Tincher; her great-grandson Callum William Tincher; her brother-in-law, Donald (Ruby Merry) Tincher; her sister-in-law Delores Albrecht.
Phyllis is preceded in death by her husband George, her parents, her granddaughter, Katlin Tincher, and her father-in-law and mother-in-law John and Isabel Tincher; her son-in-law Richard Stack; her sister Violet Macheel; her brother Howard Albrecht; her brothers-in-law Jack Tincher and Walter Macheel.
Private services will be held at a later date.
