Quentin J. Beauprey, age 81 of Zoar, passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at his home. Born on March 16, 1930 in Menominee County, he was the son of the late Luke and Susan (Amob) Beauprey. Quentin was a Veteran of the United States Army, having served his country during the Korean War. On October 8, 1977 he was united in marriage to Myrna "Maggie" Penass in Bowler. Maggie preceded him in death on March 20, 2010. Quentin was a member of the St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Neopit. He enjoyed fixing TV's, radios and other electronics as well as being in the outdoors whether it was riding through the woods, cutting wood or picking blackberries. He also enjoyed telling stories and loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren. Quentin was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and a Chicago Bears fan. Quentin is survived by: his 4 children, Susie "Anna" Matchopatow Beauprey of Shawano, Lisa (Chris) Kieper of Saukville, Clinton "Chum" Beauprey of OR, Christine Stewart of Keshena; 2 step children, Fred (Brenda) Lynk of Green Bay, Scott Lynk of Green Bay; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren; 4 sisters, Cordelia Beauprey of Neopit, Verna Miller of Neopit, Eldora (Glen) Besaw of Neopit, Marcene Beauprey of Shawano; numerous nieces and nephews including special nephew, Mike Pocan of Neopit; and numerous Godchildren. Quentin was preceded in death by: his wife, Maggie; his parents; a son, Quentin Beauprey; 2 stepchildren, Smokey, Susie; a grandson, Fredrick; 2 brothers, Luke Jr., Rodney; and 3 sisters, Marie Okatchicum, Annabelle Moser and Virginia Tousey. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Friday, January 27, 2012 at the St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Neopit with the Rev. Robert Rank officiating. Visitation will be held at the Neopit Community Center after 5pm on Wednesday until the time of the service on Friday. A Parish Wake Service will be held at 6pm on Thursday.
