Randall David Vele, age 48, walked on Saturday June 2, 2012 at his home. Randy was born on November 5, 1963 in Milwaukee, son of the late Adrian "Kanum" and Elda (Stick) Vele. He was the ninth of nine children. Randy lived his life working for his family and was well-renowned for his carpentry skills. Randy is survived by: his wife, Melissa, whom he entered into marriage with on September 4, 2010; his children, Miranda Vele, Leila Vele, Lydi Vele; and his grandchildren, Brendyn Randall Vele and Cornell Jackson Zhuckkahosee, Jr. Melissa also brought more children into Randy's life who he loved and cared for: DeVawn Bree Salgado, Maniyanne Salgado, Sequoia Salgado, Meadow Salgado, and Michael Salgado. Randy is further survived by: his mother, Elda Vele; two sisters, Gloria Bruette and Cheryl Vele; and four brothers, Adrian (Jeannie) Vele, Jr., Dennis Vele, Jeff Vele, and Scott (Becky) Vele. Randy is also survived by his father-in-law, Tommy Tourtillott. Randy is survived by many cousins, nephews, nieces, and other family members. Randy was preceded in death by: his father, Kanum; his brothers, Curtis Vele and Jerry Vele; his son, Randall Vele; his nephews, John Coon, Forest Vele; and his niece, Erica Davids. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at his home at N8716 MohHeConNuck Road on the Stockbridge-Munsee Reservation.
