Obituary

It is with deepest sorrow, we announce that Randy Lee Carley, age 64, our most beloved father, grandfather, brother, family member and friend went to his heavenly home on Tuesday, January 19, 2021.  We know Randy is now with his loving mother and father and was loved here on earth as well as our beautiful heaven.  Randy was born on May 1, 1956 at Shawano Hospital to the late Merlyn "Bob" and Mary (Hull) Carley.  At an early age Randy loved sports, especially being a catcher for Bowler's BABA Baseball Team. He also loved hunting and fishing with family and friends.  Randy graduated from Bowler High School in 1974. He worked for the United States Postal Service in Bowler for 30 years.  He lived in Bowler his whole life. About two years ago he built his dream home on Lake Gogebic, Michigan. He enjoyed looking at God's beautiful sunrise and sunsets over the lake.  He will always be remembered as the life of the party with a heart of gold. Telling his funny stories with that beautiful twinkle in his eye.

Randy is survived by his special friend, Diana Carley; son, Collin Lee (Amanda) Carley; daughter, Alanah (Dylan) Carley; precious grandson, Kyden; his loving caregiver and brother, Tommy Hi (Deb) Carley; sister, Kerry (Ray) Murphy; and stepmother, Nancy Staszak Carley. He is further survived by many loving nephews, nieces, and cousins and cannot forget his fur-loving friend Millie who gave him many kisses until the end.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Bowler at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 6, 2021 with Pastor Mark Hesse officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday at the church from 9:00 am until the time of services. In respect for family and friends it is requested that you please wear a mask.

A celebration of life for Randy will be held at a later date.

Don't worry, my friend

We are moving apart

But our friendship

Is deeply rooted in my heart

I have to take one path

While you pursue another

But we will meet soon

Let's promise each other

FAREWELL
