Raymond R. "Ray" Kroening, age ­­­­91 of Krakow, passed away on Friday, July 23, 2021 in Green Bay.  Ray was born on July 30, 1929, to the late William and Ella (Dirks) Kroening in Krakow.  Ray met the love of his life, Ena Ann Busch, and they spent 60 years together until her passing on May 19, 2013.  Ray spent many years working on his farm before retiring. Aside from farming, he also built out-buildings and pole sheds for Wilke.  He loved Case tractors and he collected and repaired them.  Most of all, Ray loved his dog Sport.  Ray was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Zachow.

Ray is survived by: his faithful companion, Sport; his sister, Alice Veeser of Neenah; nephew and care giver, Randy Veeser of Krakow; and best friend, Dennis Pederson of Cecil.  Ray is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He is preceded in death by: Ena; his parents; and siblings, Lenarth (Alinda) Kroening, Eleanor (Art) Dittman, Lawrence (Violet) Kroening, Harley (Rose) Kroening, Ewald (Violet) Kroening, Elda (Earl) Reinke, Dorothy (Earl) Wach, Edwin "Fritz" (Margie) Kroening and Edgar Kroening in infancy as well as one brother- in-law, Lawerence Veeser.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church in Zachow with Rev. Richard Buhrke officiating.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:00 am until the time of the service.  A reception at church will follow services.  Swedberg-Wendt Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
