Reneta Rose Rottier, age 68, of Shawano, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at her home after a four year battle with throat cancer. Nettie was born on November 11, 1950, in Shawano, to the late Earl "Curly" and Irene (Kinas) Robinson. She owned and operated Nettie's Bridgewater Bar in Navarino from 1981 – 2010 when she sold the business and moved to Shawano. In her free time Nettie enjoyed gardening, baking, cooking, playing cards, watching the Packers, feeding the birds on her patio, and the occasional Jim Beam Rye Whiskey.

Nettie is survived by: her children, Paula (Ron) Stapel of Lakewood, Dean (LaTanya) Hillsberg of Abrams, and David Hillsberg of Navarino; five grandchildren; and her partner, Dan "Bunk" Behnke of Shawano.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Earl "Curly" and Irene Robinson; her brothers, Bill Robinson and Pat Dorgan; and her husband, Ray Rottier.

Private family services will be held. Inurnment will be in Gresham Public Cemetery.

The family would like to thank ThedaCare Regional Cancer Center in Appleton, ThedaCare of Shawano, ThedaCare hospice nurse Holly, and Nettie's best friend Agnus for all of the wonderful care given to Reneta.

We love you mom! You were a fighter till the end and gave it all you had. You will be greatly missed.
