Rhonda Carol Caldwell, age 75 of Milwaukee, died on Tuesday, January 4, 2022. Born on December 9, 1946, in Keshena, she is the daughter of the late Joseph John and Myrtle (Boivin) Caldwell. On November 19, 1979, Rhonda was united in marriage to Eugene Boivin, Sr. at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Neopit. She was an assistant to the executor of the Indian Health Board in Milwaukee for over 30 years. She relished her "stories" and never missed an episode of Days of Our Lives. Rhonda enjoyed going to the casino to play the slots and bingo. She loved her son Eugene's chili, her family, and her Native American friends in Milwaukee and on the Menominee reservation.

She is survived by her husband Eugene; her children, Steven Boivin Sr., and Eugene (Debra) Boivin Jr.; six grandchildren, Steffany, Steven Jr., Joseph, Brittney, Eugene III, and Evan; three great-grandchildren D'Marri, Madison, and Kristina; three siblings, Jeanine Waupoose, MaryAnn Helsinger, and Joseph (Helene) Caldwell; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

Rhonda was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Ronald Caldwell, Rose Resop, Roland Caldwell, Josephine Ziarek, Janet Delabrue, and Janice Waupoose.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 8, 2022, at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with Fr. Nonito Barra officiating. Burial will be in the St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery in the spring. Visitation will be held at the Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano, on Friday from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. and again on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
