Rhonona "Sis" Vasquez, age 70, formerly of Bowler, passed away on Friday, October 4, 2019 at her home. Rhonona was born on May 10, 1949, in St. Paul, Minnesota, to the late Merton Russell Welch and Guida A. (Tousey) Welch. Rhonona was united in marriage to Cruz Solis Vasquez in 1984 and preceded her in death on December 1, 2013. She loved her pets, ghost stories, murder mysteries, the Beach Boys, and country music. Rhonona enjoyed cooking for her family and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Ranona is survived by: her children, Rupert (Becky) Welch, Tonija Welch, Guida (Sean) Welch, Rene (Toni) Montez, Jason "Big Jay" Rosario, Leonard Williams, Jason "Little Jay" (Jill) Vasquez, and Cruz (Tanya) Vasquez, II; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her brothers, Ralph Welch, Robert Welch, and Ronald Welch; and her sisters, Rosetta "Ramirez" Lady Welch, Rhonda "Sullivan" Welch, Redeena "Kreiger" Welch. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Cruz; her parents, Merton and Guida; two brothers, Russell Merton "Son" Welch and Rene Welch; and one daughter, Angelitta Vasquez.

Private family services will be held for Rhonona at a later date.
