Richard "Dick" Todd Aderman, age 61, of Shawano, passed away on Monday, June 22, 2015. Dick was born in Shawano on April 1, 1954 to the late Russell and Frances (Sperberg) Aderman. Dick was a 1972 graduate of Shawano High School and then attended UW-Stevens Point. He was an avid outdoorsman, and enjoyed trapping, hunting, and fishing. Dick was a self-taught historian on United States war history, from the Civil War, WWI, WWII and the Vietnam War. Through his reading, he gained a strong understanding and appreciation of the constitution and the importance of every person's vote. Dick was a selfless man, providing care for his family over the past years. He will be remembered and deeply missed by all who knew him. Dick is survived by his brothers, David Aderman of Shawano and Steve (Julie) Aderman of Menominee, MI. as well as his two nieces Allyson and Abigail Aderman of Menominee. He was preceded in death by his parents. In accordance with Dick's wishes, private family services will be held.
