Obituary

Richard "Dick" Gleesing, age 84, of Tigerton, died on Thursday, October 12, 2017. Richard was the son of the late Albert and Margel (Moorehouse) Gleesing.  Dick was an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict.  He is preceded in death by his wife, Edna Gleesing, and four brothers, Lenard, Ronald, Bert and Harold.
Dick is survived by: his children, Jean Fenner, Lynn Steiner, Karen Cardenas, Mark Gleesing, Michael Gleesing, Margaret "Peggy" Skenandore, and Andrew Gleesing; his step-children, Craig McKay, Sheri Scifo, Brad McKay, Cindy Anheier, Diane McKay, and Roger McKay; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  He is further survived by two sisters, Margie and Barbara.
Memorial services for Dick will be held at 1:30 pm on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at Swedberg Funeral Home Shawano with Rev. Roger McKay officiating. Military Honors will be conducted by the Shawano American Legion Post #117.  Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from NOON until the time of the service.
