Obituary
Robert L. "Danny" Corn, Sr., age 71, of Bowler, formerly of Adams, passed away on Friday, July 13, 2018 at his home. Born on October 8, 1946 in Keshena, Robert was the son of the late Richard and Mary (Oshkeshequoam) Corn. Danny was united in marriage to Deborah Vele in Adams, WI. Deborah preceded him in death on May 29, 2017. Danny worked as a truck driver for Plainfield Trucking for many years. In his free time he enjoyed visiting with friends and family, spending time with his two dogs, Victor and Spooky, going to the casino, and being outdoors, hunting and fishing. His laughter and wonderful sense of humor will be missed by all who knew him.
Danny is survived by: two children, Diana (Scott Diemel) Taubel of Navarino and Jeffrey (Carol) Corn of Suring; four grandchildren, Christopher, Darell, Daniel, and Kira Corn; two sisters, Susan Oshkosh and Elaine Oku; all of Deborah's family; as well as nieces and nephews including a special nephew Hunter.
He was preceded in death by: his wife, Deborah; two children, Robert Corn, Jr. and Roberta "Pepsi" Wilber; his parents, Richard and Mary; siblings, Velma "Babe" Tucker, Edith Penass, Janice Bellanger, Margaret Nichols, Arnold "Bill" Corn, Richard "Sonny" Corn, Helen Peterson, Jeanne Corn, and Rose White; and the mother of his children, Cheryl Breunig.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 from 3:00pm until 7:00pm.
