Robert "Bob" Dominic Johnson, age 87, of Gresham passed away on Wednesday August 14, 2024, at his home. Bob was born on August 4, 1937, in Milwaukee to the late George and Dorothy (Hope) Johnson. He attended Pulaski High School in Milwaukee where he excelled in track and field, specializing in pole vaulting. On May 3, 1958, he was united in marriage to Karen Severson at St. Paul Catholic Church in Milwaukee. The couple spent a wonderful 52 years together before Karen's passing in 2010. Bob worked for Conrad-Schmidt Studios in New Berlin for 52 years and was a member of the Stained-Glass Association of America. In 2005, he received a Meritorious Service Gold Award for 50 years of outstanding service as a stained-glass craftsman. Bob spent most of his adult life living in Milwaukee until moving to Gresham upon retirement. He was in numerous organizations such as 32nd degree Mason, Walleyes Unlimited and 1400 Fishing and Hunting Club. In his free time, Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing billiards.

Bob is survived by his children, Maria (David) Porn, Robert J. Johnson and Joseph (Becky) Johnson; grandchildren, Andrew (Ali) Porn, Anthony (Maura) Porn and Emily (Fiancé, Brady) Porn; great-grandchildren, Henry and Charlie; and siblings, Isabelle Smith, Charlie Johnson, George Johnson, Anna Ewert and Penny Mustachia.

Bob is preceded in death by his wife, Karen; siblings, Larry Johnson and Gloria Rabideaux; and parents, George and Dorothy.

A Celebration of Life for Robert will take place Saturday, August 24th at Noon, at the American Legion Post 390 on Main Street in Greshem.
