Robert J. Folkman, age 62 of Bonduel, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born on September 18, 1949 in Shawano, he was the son of the late Erwin and Lucille (Weir) Folkman. Bob lived in the Bonduel area his entire life and was a graduate of the Bonduel High School Class of 1967. On July 24, 1969 he enlisted with the United States Army and served his country for 19 months during the Vietnam War. On November 16, 1974 he was united in marriage to Patricia A. Haws at the Frieden's Lutheran Church in Bonduel. Bob worked at various jobs throughout his life, most recently at the sawmill for Jim Grunewald. During his free time, Bob enjoyed hunting and fishing. Bob is survived by: his wife of 37 years, Patricia; his daughter, Stephanie (Nathan) Erickson; his son, Daniel Folkman; his brother, Charles (Audrey) Moede; his sister, Joyce (Jim) Mueller; and numerous nieces and nephews.
