Robert James Forrest, age 64 of Pulaski, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2014 in Green Bay. Born on February 10, 1949 in Green Bay, he was the son of the late Arthur and Beulah (Griepentrog) Forrest. Robert grew up in the Green Bay area and was a graduate of Bay Port High School. On September 23, 1967 he was united in marriage to Gloria V. Lucht in Green Bay. Robert worked for Diebold for 45 years before retiring. He enjoyed learning about and working around technology, especially when it involved computers. When not working, Robert liked to garden, enjoyed old cars and hot rods, and watching the Green Bay Packers. He was also an avid reader. His most treasured moments were those spent with his family, especially his beloved granddaughter, whom affectionately referred to him as "Bob-Bob." Robert is survived by: his wife of 46 years, Gloria; his daughter, Angela Forrest of Green Bay; 2 sons, Robert Forrest of Angelica, Dean Forrest of Green Bay; his granddaughter, Krystal Holmes-Forrest; 3 sisters, Patricia Schlag of Green Bay, Kathryn Pearce of Green Bay, Bonnie Forrest of Cudahy; and a brother, A. Thomas Forrest of Green Bay. Robert was preceded in death by: his parents; and 3 sisters, Beverly Jeanson, Dorothy Miller and Michele Forrest. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Monday, February 10, 2014 at the Swedberg-Wendt Funeral Home in Bonduel with the Deacon Nick Williams officiating.
