Robert Walter Gaulke, age 82 of Gillett, passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2013 in Shawano. Born on September 28, 1930 in Milwaukee, he was the son of the late Ervin H. and Mildred (Lemke) Gaulke. In 1951 he enlisted with the United States Armed Forces and served his country for two years during the Korean War. On October 1, 1960 he was united in marriage to Flora E. Stewart in Santa Cruz, CA. She preceded him in death on December 9, 2006. Robert worked as a truck driver for the Indian Head Truck Line. When not at work he loved spending time with his family as well as hunting. Robert is survived by: a daughter, Lynda L. Larkin of Gillett; a son, Robert A. (Lori) Gaulke of Gillett; 4 grandchildren, Tomisina Marie, Billie Jo, Matthew, Jessica; and 4 great-grandchildren. Robert was preceded in death by: his wife, Flora; his parents; and 3 sisters including 1 in infancy. A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at the Swedberg-Wendt Funeral Home in Bonduel with the Rev. David Barrett officiating.
