Born December 19, 1987, in Hinsdale, IL, at age 35, Robert "Max" Hawley was called to his heavenly home on September 16, 2023.  He is survived by his Mother Deborah (Steve) Borroughs of Shawano, WI, Father Thomas (Patti Peterson) Hawley of Shawano, WI, Brother Zachary Hawley, Shawano, WI, sisters Whitney (Nathan) Butz, Muskego, WI, Shifrah (Brant) Morgan, Kingsford, MI, Lindsey Borroughs, Hartland, WI, Malory Borroughs, Green Bay, WI, Kassidy (Michael) Andrus, Shawano, W, Calissa (Cody) Reimer, Clintonville, WI, godmother Cynthia L. Livigni, Shawano, WI and godfather Ralph Hawley, Palos Heights, IL. Max is further survived by his special friend Devyn Jenae Esquibel and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Max was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Robert and Loretta Price and paternal grandparents, Thomas and Beulah Hawley.

Max was a jack of all trades working on any project that piqued his curiosity at the time; while electronics and computers were his specialty.   He was curious, kind, gentle and always had a great smile for anyone he met.  If you were Max's friend, you would have him for life as his commitment and devotion to his friends was overwhelming.  Had a project to do?  Call Max. He would arrive ready to roll and would not stop until the task was completed.  Max loved the outdoors.  Nature was his spiritual shelter and he reveled in its beauty and intrigue.

A Catholic funeral Mass for Max will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Visitation will begin on Friday September 29, 2023 at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Visitation will be held again at 10:00 am on Saturday at the church until the time of service. A private inurnment will follow at a later date.
