Robert loved to laugh and start the B.S. by playing tricks on others. He loved his family dearly, enjoying all the moments spent together, especially with the grandchildren. Robert loved connecting with his loved ones on FaceTime and Facebook. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Robert is survived by his children, Robert Johnson Jr. of South Branch, Mary Beth (Bert) Huntington of Gresham, Martin Johnson of South Branch, and Hope Johnson of Arizona; grandchildren, Robert Johnson III, James (Tonya) Johnson, Tim Johnson, Amanda Johnson, Matt Johnson, Lucas Huntington, Eden Huntington, and Mary Ellen Huntington; and one sister, Jill (Paul Marroquin) Johnson of South Branch.

A funeral service for Robert will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, April 5, 2021 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Keshena with Fr. Hanz Christian officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph's of the Lake Cemetery in South Branch. Military honors will be conducted by the Keshena American Legion and the Veterans of the Menominee Nation. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 4, 2021 at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm and again on Monday from 9:00 am until the time of procession to the church.

Grandpa
Soulmates of sorts
He and I
Made for each other
No doubt in my mind
His gentle spirit
Soft and kind
His love contagious
Like his beautiful smile
How blessed to have found him
Yep, he is mine
My sweet soul Grandpa
Truly one of a kind
Yes, soulmates for sure, He and I.
