Robert Charles Kasten age 51 of the Town of Richmond, passed away Monday, August 06, 2012. Born on July 10, 1961 in Shawano, he was the son of the late Ervin and Lucille (Hagen) Kasten, Sr. Bob worked as a Patrolman with the Shawano County Highway Department for many years. Prior to that he worked at Doc Burr's Auto Salvage and then Steve Burr's Auto Parts. In his free time, Bob enjoyed visiting with his family and friends and going out to dinner. Bob is survived by: his son, Matt of Shawano; his brother, Kerwin (Jean) Kasten of Shawano; his sister, Lucinda (Curtis) Beilfuss of Shawano; and special friends, Amy Dillenburg and Steve Burr. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, August 9, 2012 at the Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with the Rev. Melinda Shriner officiating.
