Robert J. Novak, age 81, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2024, in Shawano. He was born on March 11, 1942, in Milwaukee to the late Anton and Elizabeth (Gatewood) Novak. Robert was united in marriage to Telka Ninham on August 5, 1994. Telka preceded him in death on August 3, 2014. He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in the Town of Morris. Robert enjoyed fishing and hunting early in his life. He loved working on the computer, Ham radio, and watching football. He was especially proud to have served his country in the US Army.

Robert is survived by: his children, Anton (Linda) Novak, Cynthia Novak and Cheryl (Robert) Espitia, 5 stepchildren, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his sister, Kim Marie (Jerry) Manske. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He is preceded in death by: his wife of 20 years Telka Novak; his parents, Anton and Elizabeth Novak; and his sister, Roberta Ninham.

A graveside service will be held in the spring at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in the Town of Morris. Military honors will be conducted at the cemetery.
