IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Robert Kenneth
Perez
March 22, 1939 – July 30, 2023
Robert "Bob" Kenneth Perez, age 84, passed away peacefully at his home in West Branch surrounded by his family on July 30, 2023. Bob was born on March 22, 1939, in Keshena to the late Camilo and Mary (Kinepoway) Perez. On October 10, 1959, he was united in marriage to Anita Weso in Keshena. He was a self-employed logger until retiring. Bob had a strong work ethic and was an excellent provider for his family. After retirement, Bob bought a stump grinder and ground stumps until he was 81 years old. Bob was Legendary, a master woodsman and hunter. Bob enjoyed bear hunting, deer hunting, fishing and especially fly fishing. He was a skilled tracker that assisted tribal police on many occasions. In his last few months, he enjoyed watching hummingbirds and wildlife in his front yard. Bob's grandchildren were the apple of his eye and they thought he walked on water. His sense of humor was evident in the way he teased and played with all his hellraisers.
Bob is survived by his wife of 63 years, Anita; children, William "Bill" (Mary) Perez, Nina (Stuart) White, Amy Perez and Roberta "Robin" Perez; daughter-in-law, Lynell grandchildren, Dodie, Derrick Jr., Forrest, Daniel, Miranda, Nicole, Luke, Rebecca, Andrew, Janie, Brian, Joseph, Katie, Marcus, Maria, Jennie, Raymond, Tyler and Natalie; twenty-five great-grandchildren; and brother, Renford Perez. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including special friend, Dick Dodge.
Bob is preceded in death by his son, Derrick "Jammer" Perez; siblings, Betty Bailey, Donald Kinepoway, Louis Perez, Benjamin Perez, Ramona Fish, Gaynell Maho and Clarence Perez; and special friends, Ronny Pleshek, Donny Tourtillott and Joey Sanapaw; and special nephew, Troy Tourtillott.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday August 2, 2023, at the Perez Residence N2642 West Branch Road Keshena, WI 54135, with Bishop Duane Henning. Visitation will be held at the Perez Residence in West Branch beginning at noon on Tuesday August 1, 2023. Bob's family would like to invite family and friends to come and share their memories at 6:30 pm on Tuesday.
