Robert E. "Bob"
Reedy, Sr.
Mar 13, 1937 — Aug 5, 2026
Robert “Bob” Reedy Sr., 89, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2026, leaving behind a rich legacy of faith, hard work, leadership, and devotion to his family and community.
Born on March 13, 1937, in Gresham, Wisconsin, to the late George and Eleanor (Schoenfeldt) Reedy, Bob grew up with a deep work ethic grounded in rural tradition. A 1955 graduate of Gresham High School, he spent many years living and working on the family dairy farm in the Gresham area. In addition to farming, he dedicated 10 years to road construction with Streu Construction.
Bob was a steadfast public servant who cared deeply about the future of his township. He served the Town of Herman with pride as a supervisor before taking on the role of Town Chairman. His commitment to community extended naturally into his personal passions, he was a passionate Milwaukee Brewers fan, an avid player and supporter of the Tilleda White Sox, later continuing his love for the game as a trusted umpire. An active, long-standing member and Treasurer of the Tilleda Sno-Riders Snowmobile Club, Bob spent countless hours grooming and maintaining trails for local riders. Grounded in his faith, he also volunteered his time to assist multiple local churches with cemetery preparations.
Bob’s greatest pride was his family. He is survived by his four children, Robert (Sally) Reedy Jr., Roger Reedy, Rita Hartwig, and Ryan (Jenny) Reedy; his cherished grandchildren, Kyle (Cortney) Reedy, Stephanie (Daniel) Michonski, Lacey Estes, Casey (Misty) Reedy, Elizabeth Hartwig, Robin (Carly) Reedy, Dorothy (Michael) Lamotte, and Jake Chojnacki; and his siblings, Patricia Rosenburg, Kathleen (William) Foderaro, Anthony (Phyllis) Reedy, and Jeffrey (Myrna) Reedy. He is further survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Reedy; his parents George and Eleanor Reedy; brothers and sisters, Jerome Reedy, Cecil Reedy, Sabina Carroll, and Guy Reedy.
