Roberta "Robin" M. Smith (Peters), age 74, passed away on Tuesday June 17, 2025, at the Pines in Embarrass. Robin was born on February 12, 1951, in Keshena to the late Catherine Peters. She worked for several years as an admin assistant at the College of Menominee Nation and enjoyed working closely with students. In 1972, she was united in marriage to James Smith at St. Anthony Catholic Church. James preceded her in death in 2018. In Robin's free time, she enjoyed trips to the casino to play bingo, listening to her favorite band, Risque and was always the last person on the dance floor. She will be remembered for her kindness and willingness to help anyone in need; always had her door open to anyone. Robin looked forward to Sunday family dinners with her family; her specialties were her chili and frybread. Family was her priority and always there for her children and grandchildren. Robin was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend; she will be deeply missed.

Robin is survived by her children, Jamie, Laurie, Darrell, Greg, Lea and Robin; grandchildren, Richard, Justin, Larissa, Alek, Ashley, Brayden, Diandra, Lori, Darrell, Jr., Melinda, Sage, Ashauntee, Allen, Ayanna, Courtney, Kristen, Caleb, Naraeha, Porfilio, Jr., Temaeha, Drelynn and Brayllar; siblings, Andrea (Handy), Marilyn (Nonie) and Willard "Buzz"; in-laws, Joseph "Puffer", Stephen "Kuka" and Gerald; special nephew, John Dess; and special friends, Alice, Annette, Kathy, Mary and Molie. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Robin is preceded in death by her husband, James; first born and very special grandson Louis, III.; siblings, Veronica "Cookie", Emelda, Lyle and Roger; and in-laws, Bernard "Smitty", Mary "Tweet", Mary "Grub", Warren "Sarge", Gregory and John.

A funeral mass for Robin will be held at 11:00 am on Friday June 20, 2025, at St. Anthony Catholic Church with Fr. Hanz Christian officiating. Visitation will be held at Neopit Community Center starting on Wednesday June 18, 2025, from 5:00 pm until the time of service on Friday.
